Pune. The country's famous two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto and UK motorcycle brand Triumph have entered into a global partnership to manufacture a new range of mid-range (200 to 800 cc) motorcycles. The partnership was announced by both companies in August 2017. This global partnership is without an equity stake.
Triumph Motorcycle Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud said here that motorcycles manufactured under the new brand will be available from 2022. Their prices will be less than two lakh rupees. Rajiv Bajaj, managing director of Bajaj Auto said, 'The Triumph brand is historic worldwide. Therefore, we are confident that there will be a lot of curiosity about these new products in India and other emerging markets. ”Triumph Motorcycle CEO Nick Bloor said that the products coming through this partnership will attract the youth.
