Karachi. At least 20 people were killed when a passenger bus hit a train while trying to cross an unmanned railway crossing in Sindh province of Pakistan. Many others have been injured in the accident. The accident took place in Rohri area of ​​Sukkur district when a bus going from Karachi to Sargodha was crossing the open unmanned railway crossing and hit the Pakistan Express train.

Sukkur Commissioner Shafiq Ahmed Mehsar confirmed that the accident took place At least 20 people have died. He said that the death toll could increase further as the condition of many injured is critical. Mehsar said, we have admitted at least 60 injured to hospitals in Rohri and Sukkur. The collision was so terrible that the bus broke into 3 pieces.

Sukkur police officer Jamil Ahmed said, it was a terrible accident. The collision was so tremendous that the bus split into 3 pieces. He told that the train went on dragging the bus about 150 to 200 feet. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took cognizance of the incident and directed the Sukkur commissioner to send the rescue teams to the area.
