Roofing. Patan police arrested four people, including the couple, on charges of trapping a businessman in a honeytrap and extorting money from him. The first police caught the accused from raping the merchant.

According to the information, a merchant named Praveen Chaudhary of Radhanpur Ganj market in Patan district was going towards Mehsana in his car. On the way, a woman asked for a lift. Praveen Chaudhary made the woman sit in the car as a human being. After sitting in the car, the woman called her colleagues and asked them to come forward. A few times a swift car stopped Praveen Chaudhary's car by overtaking him. Three persons got down from the swift car and kidnapped the businessman in his car and took him to Mansa village. Where Pravin Chaudhary was assaulted and made pornographic videos with the woman and demanded Rs 50 lakh.

Later the deal was sealed for Rs 4 lakh. But after getting a promise from Praveen Chaudhary to get the money, he left it. However, after being released, Praveen Chaudhary did not give the money. Due to which the accused continued to call Praveen Chaudhary and threatened him. Frightened by the threat, Praveen Chaudhary reached Hariz Police Station and registered a case against four people, including the woman. The Hariz police arrested four accused, including Jyotsna Thakore and her husband Kanuji Thakore, besides Bharatsinh Vaghela and Bhikhaji Thakore, based on the call location. A case is also registered against the arrested Jyotsna Thakor at the Radhanpur police station.
