Udaipur. Hindustan Zinc smelter Debari, in collaboration with Alakh Nayan Temple, organized an eye test camp at the Panchayat Bhavan in Bhalo ka Guda village. The camp was organized with the objective of identifying the eye patients in the village and providing them free treatment. A total of 104 villagers were benefited with the camp in the village. Cataract problem was found in the eyes of 15 patients, who were sent to Alakh Nayan Hospital for the operation, the operation will be done free of cost by the hospital. Through this initiative, awareness about eye protection and care is being spread to the people of the community through specialist doctors. This is the second camp in Debari cluster. In the first camp, 18 cataract patients were treated with surgery. Free eye glasses will be made available to community members after examining the eyes.
