Dubai. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has banned Canadian spinner Rakib Shamsuddin. This ban has been imposed with immediate effect on Rakib bowling in international cricket. This ban has been imposed on Rakib because his action was found suspicious during the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Rakib, 18, was complained by the match officials during a match between Canada and South Africa on 22 January. Video footage of his bowling has also been shared with the panel. According to the ICC, the panel has prohibited him from playing, considering his action as illegal.
