New Delhi. South Korean company Hyundai is bringing its new Creta SUV. Before the new Creta was introduced in the heavy car market, Hyundai released its design scages. The second generation Creta will be introduced at the Auto Expo. The sketch shows that the second generation Creta will come with a new design language. It will be based on the new platform and will have many new features. The design sketches released by Hyundai India suggest that the new Creta will be similar to the IX25 model.
Hyundai's IX25 model has been available for sale in the Chinese market since 2019. Hyundai's signature cascading grille has been given at the front of the Creta SUV. The new Creta gets headlamps with an all-new split design. The tail-gate of the new Creta is much better and bolder. Overall, the look of the vehicle is quite aggressive. However, it remains to be seen how much the new Creta matches the released design sketch. Hyundai's aura has come out quite differently from the released sketch. However, Hyundai has not yet revealed the interior details of its new Creta. However, the interior of the new Creta may be quite similar to the model launched in China.
The dashboard layout is completely new in the Chinese model, with a 10.25-inch touchscreen in vertical positions. The new Creta can have a steering wheel like all modern models of Hyundai. The steering wheel can come in a 3-spoke design with multi-function buttons. In China, the driver is given a semi-digital instrument cluster. It will be seen whether Hyundai offers it in India or not. The 2020 Creta will be based on the Kia Celtos platform and may feature engines of the same line-up.
