Bhopal. A shepherd was attacked by a tiger in Umaria district of the state, killing the shepherd. After this incident, sensation spread in the area and people are afraid of going into the forest. The incident took place in village Akmaniha under Naurozabad police station in the district. Officials of the forest department and police department have started investigating the case. According to the information received, Nervada Singh father Dara Singh, who lives here, took his cattle to take it to the forest for grazing like everyday. It is said that in the evening when he was coming back to his village with his cattle, suddenly a tiger attacked an ox. According to the information, after the tiger attack, the young man also ran in the circle to save the bull. So the tiger attacked him as well.
It is said that the young man died on the spot due to the tiger attack. The villagers reported the incident in the forest division and the Naurojabad police station. After this, joint action is being taken by both the departments. Since Akmaniha village is adjacent to Bandhavgarh National Park, due to which the movement of tiger is always there. People say that due to the movement of the tiger, there is always panic among the people. Incidents of attacks on animals by tigers and their hunting continue to emerge. Despite this, the forest department is not making special efforts to protect the livestock and local villagers from predatory animals.
