New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the contribution of Air India and Health Ministry officials in the task of evacuating the stranded Indians in Wuhan, China and issued letters of appreciation to the members engaged in the campaign. The letter will be handed over to the Air India crew by the Minister of State for Civil Aviation.
Air India had to make an emergency flight to evacuate Indians from the city of Wuhan. The city has been the main hub of the corona virus from where the disease spread. Despite information about the serious situation in this area, Air India sent two B-747 aircraft and its crew there. On the 31st of last month and the first of this month, Air India along with two teams from the Ministry of Health also reached Wuhan.
