Srinagar. The whole country is remembering the martyrs after a year of Pulwama attack. 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in a heart-wrenching suicide attack on February 14 last year. On this occasion, CRPF Special DG (Jammu and Kashmir Zone) Zulfikar Hasan said that the people who executed the Pulwama attack have been accounted for.
Special DG Zulfiqar Hasan said, 'The attack is being investigated by the NIA. The investigation is moving in the right direction. As far as I know, much progress has been made in the investigation. We have left no stone unturned to take care of the martyrs' family. ”
A memorial has been inaugurated at Lethpora in Srinagar on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Pulwama attack. The names of all 40 martyrs are inscribed in the Memorial. Top officials of CRPF reached here and paid tribute to the martyrs.
On 14 February 2019, at around 3 pm, there was a news on TV channels which shocked the whole country. The news was from Jammu and Kashmir. In Pulwama, a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist rammed an explosive-laden car into a bus carrying Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. 40 soldiers were killed in this suicide attack. A few days later, India avenged the martyrdom of the soldiers by air strikes on terror camps in Balakot, Pakistan.
