Bhopal. Governor Lalji Tandon hoisted the flag at a state level function organized at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on the 71st Republic Day and addressed the citizens. After the flag hoisting, the Governor inspected the Republic Day parade and took the salute. The Governor read out the message to the people of the state.
After the Harsh Fire, the graceful joint parade came out amidst the melodious tune of the police band. The parade was led by Shri Amit Tolani, a 2016 batch officer of the Indian Police Service and Jabalpur Superintendent of Police. The parade to-ic was handled by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Gwalior Mr. Prashant Bhadoria.
After the joint parade, colorful cultural programs were organized by the students of different schools and the Department of Culture. The presentation of school students was followed by an attractive presentation of the famous Gond tribe folk dance, Bhadam and Gudumbaja.
Horticulture, Scheduled Caste Development, Spirituality, Primitive Caste Welfare, Farmers Welfare, Sports and Youth Welfare, Home, Water Resources, Jails, Urban Development and Housing, New and Renewable Energy, Election Commission, Panchayat and Rural Development, Tourism, Animal Husbandry, Women and Child Development, Public Health and Tables of Family Welfare, Forestry, Cooperation, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, School Education and Labor Department were removed.
First team of Hawkforce in Armored Force Kategiri and Senior Division in Non Armored Force Kategiri for best performance in Joint Parade. NCC Army Wing Girls were awarded first prize. Similarly, concerted presentation of seven schools in cultural programs was given first, Government Girls Higher Secondary School second and Dehli Public School Neelbad were given third prize. Among the tableaux of government departments, the first prize was given to the Chief Electoral Officer's Office Tableau, the second prize was given to the Prison Department and the third prize to the Home Department's tableau.
