Fatehpur. Two motorcycle-borne youths were killed on the spot on Friday near the village of Sungaon, crushed by an oil tanker. Deputy Superintendent of Police (CO) Kapil Dev Mishra said on Saturday that Veer Bahadur Patel alias Veeru (26), originally a resident of Bahlolpur village of Hussainganj police station, runs an iron production factory in Pakka Talab in the city. On Friday, he went to Nuwabagh in the city with his partner Rajan (24) on a motorcycle. Mishra said that while returning from there, his motorcycle slipped and fell, causing both the heads to be crushed by the falling oil tanker and both died in the spot. Both the dead youths were not wearing helmets. He said that traffic was disrupted for about an hour due to this accident. The tanker and its driver have been caught. The CO said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem by registering a case of careless driving against the tanker driver and further investigation has been started.
